James Kidner was the founding Director of Coexist – a new educational charity working to help people understand religion’s role in today’s globalised society. From 2003 – 2006, he was Deputy Private Secretary to HRH The Prince of Wales, on secondment was from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where he spent some twenty years or so, including postings to Malaysia and Bulgaria, and a long-term focus on India.  James has a BA and MA from Oxford University, where he studied History from 1980-83 at Christ Church.  He lives on Dartmoor and is married to Sally, a doctor: they have four children.
